Neat and clean, with good rooms and a nice restaurant. There’s also a family bar.

Jacob welcomed us and helped us feel comfortable, which meant a lot as two women visiting a local lounge. The service was great, and the karimeen, squid, prawns, and tiger prawns were fresh and delicious. The liquor was good too. We felt safe, and they even drove us back to the Taj.

The meals were delicious, and there was a wide choice of drinks. The rooms were well maintained and made for a peaceful break. Waking up to rice fields and those lovely views from the window was a treat.

The room was a good size and clean, and I really liked the balcony chairs overlooking farmland. The staff, including the service and housekeeping teams, were very good, and housekeeping was prompt whenever needed. But the food was tasteless and really bad. I also had to ask for tea bags and coffee for the room, and they never brought them, even though there was an electric kettle.
