Hotel M.P. Temples Inn

The hotel is in a great spot, and there’s a lift for getting around. Staff were friendly, and the ground-floor restaurant served tasty food. A good stay overall.

My recent family trip for spiritual reasons was a really bad experience. The receptionist was strict and unfriendly, and her replies to our questions weren’t polite. One of the two helpers did his job well, but the other made me uncomfortable. He looked at me in a way I didn’t like, then stared as I passed and laughed with someone behind me. I don’t know his name, but the receptionist called him bhai. I won’t book here again. Three years ago, the rooms and service were good, and we were treated well. The location is a hotspot, so it always seems busy even if other things aren’t good.

The area itself felt very unpleasant. After a full day of darshans, all I wanted was a quiet place to sleep, but noise from the kitchen outside my window carried on loudly, with dishes and people talking. The room was dirty when they checked me in. After I asked, they wiped it down, as the photo shows, and there were lots of long black hairs on the bedsheet.

We ate at Hotel Gowrikkrishna for dinner once and lunch twice, and loved the food. The South Indian and Chinese dishes were great quality, with lots of good choices. There wasn’t a menu available, so I checked Zomato and ordered from there. On our third day we packed lunch to take on the train and ate it for dinner. It was cooked well and didn’t spoil. I didn’t stay at the hotel because the rate was high. It’s close to the main attractions, and local buses go everywhere.
