The owner made the stay feel personal from the moment he welcomed me with tea. He arranged a delicious dinner, took care of the attraction and national park entries, and gave me useful advice about my itinerary and the local bus connections. Everything was handled smoothly, so I didn't have to worry about arrangements. He was genuinely warm and helpful. Green View Hotel in Thekkady also has clean, comfortable rooms and a lovely terrace view. Its location is convenient, within walking distance of Periyar National Park. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Green View to anyone visiting Thekkady.

Suresh was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He came with us to the ticket office to arrange bamboo rafting and border hike tickets, shared useful suggestions, organized laundry, and let us check out late so we could be more comfortable. Green view is a humble homestay in a great spot in the Thekkady area. Our spacious room had the basic amenities we needed, plus a roomy balcony facing the garden, where we saw a black monkey swing past. Cafes, restaurants, shops, and the starting point for hiking and rafting activities are all within walking distance. Highly recommend !!

Even without AC, the rooms stay cool in summer. The house is clean and well maintained, and the garden at the back is a nice view from the balcony. Each room has solar hot water. The city centre location makes it easy to get to nearby restaurants and tourist places. Let the host know ahead of time if you need parking. He recommended good places to visit and also provided tickets for the kalari show.

We spent 2 nights here in a quiet, lush part of town. The rooms are simple and clean, and the hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Such a lovely place, would 100% recommend.

We stayed for two nights while exploring Thekkady, and Suresh really made the visit a 5 star experience. He greeted us with tea, told us about the activities nearby, and recommended the martial arts, which was the most fun thing I did here. Whenever we had questions, he helped quickly, checked how our stay was going, and arranged a taxi to our next place. Our room had a nice garden view and a hanging chair to relax in. The hotel is close to the activities in Thekkady, including the martial arts, about a 10 min walk away, and the safari park…
