Kofiland Resort

The villas are small but beautifully built, with gorgeous interiors. Ours was very clean and felt premium, and the bathroom was wonderfully spacious, with a bathtub and a large shower head. The resort also has a well-kept swimming pool and its own lake, all in a serene, unbelievably beautiful setting. There’s plenty of fresh, healthy food to choose from in the large dining area. It’s a huge resort with a premium feel and a great location for staying and enjoying a visit. Every penny felt worth it.

Because the recent floods seem to have affected tourism in Kerala, there was hardly anyone at the resort despite it supposedly being peak season. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hospitality was superb, with polite, helpful staff, and the food was good. There was no buffet because of the low occupancy, but we could order pretty much anything from the menu. They even made Ada for breakfast on request, a rice pancake filled with coconut and palm sugar. Thank you for that. The property is huge, with around 20 cottages and a private lake. The rooms were spacious, each with a jacuzzi and a great view. The complimentary spice plantation tour was interesting. We had a great time, thank you to the team, and keep up the good work!

The only suggestion I have for management is to add a spice shop on the property, so guests can buy spices without having to look for them in the market. We had an exceptional stay at kofiland resort. The staff were very courteous and always ready to help. Fishing and a spice walk were available, and Miss Leeba led our walk. She knew the plantation well, explained the plants and their uses, and kindly gave us a few plants we were interested in. At check-in we were welcomed with a traditional spice drink and a detailed explanation of the resort and its activities. The process was quick and easy. Our room was a little distance from reception, but drop-off vehicles were always available. It had a lovely lake view and all the amenities. The jacuzzi was great, though a few sediment particles came out at first; after letting some water run out, it was fine. Food was good, even though breakfast had limited choices in the off-season. What they served was tasty, especially the idli, ghee dosa, tea, and strawberry shake. All rooms have lake views and a jacuzzi, and the resort sits among plantations beside a beautiful lake.

The bathroom was spacious and relaxing, with both a jacuzzi and side showers. The room was well lit, had Wi-Fi and a television, and opened onto an outdoor deck with a wonderful view. I had a pleasant stay at this plantation resort, which also has an artificial lake running through the ravine. Staff were courteous and hospitable, and happy to help with tourist destinations or anything else we needed. Special thanks to Mr. Rajan from the restaurant team, who always reminded us to have a wholesome meal before heading out.
