Hotel Ajanta by OYO Rooms

We were made to wait over 30 minutes before we could enter our room. The staff behaved like third class people. A very bad experience.

The AC worked well, though there was no remote to control it, and the TV didn't work. The room could be a little bigger. Please look into these issues, thanks.

The room was awful: dirty sheets, blankets that smelled bad, hair everywhere, and no room service at all during our stay. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I booked Hotel O Ajanta, Asansol through OYO, after telling OYO I was travelling with a patient and needed a 10 AM early check-in. Their team confirmed it, but on arrival the hotel staff rudely turned us away, wouldn't even let us wait in reception, and told us to leave. We spent an hour by the road in an unfamiliar city with a patient, feeling helpless. They only let us in after repeated requests, even though rooms were empty. Worst hotel I've stayed in. Avoid it at all costs.

This has happened to me three times now: we arrive at the hotel after booking, only to be told at reception that every room is booked. Doesn't anyone confirm with the hotel before taking a booking, or does the system need fixing? If this can happen to us, it can cause trouble for anyone. Nobody wanted to take action when it happened, but please improve the service. Thank you.
