The food took a while, but it was prepared very nicely. The chef does a good job with Chinese dishes, and they serve fresh vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The manager was friendly and helpful, even arranging cultural activities for us at the last minute. The staff seemed positive about helping guests and understanding what they need, and everyone we dealt with was polite, grounded, and helpful.

The food was delicious, with a homestyle taste. The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were polite and well trained. The hotel is near the local market, which works well if that's where you're headed. For a scenic stay, though, it's not a good fit.

We came from Varanasi on a tour of Kerala, and really liked this hotel. The tourist spots are close enough to walk to, and the rooms were clean. Dining was great, with very good food. Staff across the front desk, dining, and other areas were friendly, cooperative, and very good. Five out of five.
