Sipayi Resort

The pool was one of the few decent things, but the activities were limited. Our family trip was a waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t choose this place for a holiday with children. The rooms smelled bad and had insects, and there was no hot water. The food was very poor: the chapatis were undercooked and the rice only half cooked. Extra food came in small portions at high prices, and there wasn’t suitable basic food for children on time. They even served milk mixed with water. The manager was especially rude, and the staff showed no respect or willingness to help. I was not at all happy with the place or the manager’s behavior.

Room service was good, and they brought us extra mattresses for the rooms. Beyond that, this was one of my worst resort experiences. The place is remote, surrounded by jungle, with nothing nearby, and it didn’t feel worth the stay. We weren’t told in advance that swimming and the activities, including the rain dance, close at 6:30. The bonfire runs from 7 to 9. At other places I’ve visited, it usually starts around 10 and goes until midnight or 1 a.m., while swimming is often available until at least 9 p.m. I don’t know why this resort’s hours are so restrictive. We tried raising requests with the managers, but they were rude and wouldn’t listen. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

The pool was quite good, but our family’s experience was awful and didn’t match what we paid. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with no respect for guests. There wasn’t proper basic food for the children on time, and the milk they served was mixed with water. The activity areas weren’t properly maintained. All in all, don’t visit this resort.

A nice day out at Sipaye resort. We got to relax and have fun, and the adventure activities were exciting, organized well, and felt safe.
