Rahi Pathik Niwas

There's a restaurant inside this government hotel, which has a resort-style setup. The lawn is large and suitable for marriage functions, and there's also a small, partly covered hall. Cleanliness and service are good, and there's enough parking for four-wheelers.

A good family hotel, though a little expensive. It's close to places you can visit related to Buddha.

I only had breakfast here, so I can't comment on the rooms. The food was excellent, with quality and quantity beyond what I expected, and the staff were very courteous. Maintenance is very good, and there's parking space. This is probably the best hotel in Kushinagar run by the UP Government.

The campus is large and beautiful, and I was surprised by how peaceful the single dwellings were. The rooms are neat and clean, and the staff keep making an effort to maintain them. It's run by UP tourism. Entertainment is limited to free to air channels. The restaurant is well equipped and can serve large crowds, with decent food prices. There's lots of vehicle parking, and the gated complex feels safe. Lawns are available for marriage ceremonies, so the marriage season can mean a noisy night. There are no restrictions on DJs playing late into the night. Overall, it's a great place, with staff who make personal efforts to keep guests safe and secure and respond promptly. VIP visits keep the property up and moving.
