Chinthu Comforts by OYO Rooms

We paid online for three rooms and said there would be eight of us, but when we arrived they demanded extra money. The rooms weren't clean, and the toilets were dirty and stank. Towels were missing from every room at first, and when they eventually brought the bedsheets, bed, and towels, they still weren't clean. There were no soaps or basic bathroom supplies either. I'd heard OYO used to offer a decent stay for an affordable price, but after this experience it would be my last choice for a homestay. This hotel alone could damage the OYO name. We experienced all this just a few days ago, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. If you want to spoil your vacation, visit Hotel Chinthu Comforts.

Hey viewers, on my last official visit to Tumkur I stayed at this lodge, and the experience was bad from start to finish. The rooms are big, but aren't maintained, the AC doesn't cool, and there was a water leak. There was no service or cleaning, the staff weren't supportive, and the service boys asked for money. I travelled 700kms hoping to get a good night's sleep, and this place was the worst. The sheets weren't clean, it wasn't hygienic, and water from the AC outlet was coming into the room. Even if this seems like your only option, get off the highway and look in Tumkur city instead.

The receptionist claimed Aadhar cards were invalid, and the management were arrogant and disrespectful. We had to argue just to get the room we had booked. They wouldn't accept online payment for the room booking and pushed us to pay extra by booking offline. I found the place disgusting, and there's a bar underneath it. I've left out the swear words I'd use, but I would never choose this hotel again.
