Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from: poori-sabji, idli-sambar, sandwiches, cereal, fruit, juice, and tea or coffee. Our room was spotless and roomy, and it felt warm and welcoming in the winter cold. The view was refreshing, the staff were prompt, and the service was excellent 👌 We were a family of three and really enjoyed our two-night stay. Room service was good too. I’d recommend it 👍

The food was tasty and satisfying, with a good range at breakfast and dinner over the three days. Amisha, Bhumika, Abhijeet, Pravesh, Jyothika, and Muskan were very helpful in the restaurant. Our room had lovely mountain views, heaters for the room and bed, and a spacious bathroom with good hot water at both the shower and washbasin taps. Yashshree Lachung is nestled among the mountains, with nearby monasteries within walking distance. Check-in was quick and smooth, and Passang Futi, Passang Wongu, and Ananya at reception were helpful. Manager Mauricia was especially helpful during our stay, and Rinchen from the central reservation team assisted us too. We had a lovely, comfortable stay 👌 Highly recommended!

The food was tasty and freshly prepared, and the hotel has a stunning view, especially of the snow-covered peaks in the early morning. Yashshree Lachung was peaceful and welcoming, right in the heart of Lachung. Our room was clean, warm, and cozy in the cold mountain weather, and the staff were polite and helpful, always checking that guests were comfortable. A wonderful stay 🌸

The food was a real highlight. I didn’t expect it, but the chef made some of the best North Indian food I’ve had in Sikkim. The egg curry and chicken dishes were great, and the butter naan is a must try. The hotel was very clean and is one of the better options in Lachung. They also thoughtfully prepared small breakfast boxes with fruit and sandwiches for guests leaving around 5am. The downsides were hard to overlook. At over 10k a night in December, when other options cost much less, the property felt overpriced and not worth what we spent. Room service was terrible, 0/10. We had to call three times for each order, and the standard reply that it hadn’t been punched because there were too many orders was a joke. I didn’t expect great Wi-Fi in this location, but it was marketed as among the best around, while we got speeds below 1 mbps. The Yashshree central sales team charged extra for a Christmas gala dinner, then it was cancelled and the hotel charged guests for some barbecue dishes instead. Such a shame after paying 10k a night for a regular hotel.

The Diwali celebration with a bonfire, singing, and dancing was awesome and made the stay memorable. I spent two days here with my family and we enjoyed it fully. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff, from reception to the restaurant. Everyone was very polite, and the food was too good. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lachung.
