Seven Seas Dream Castle Neil Island

The rooms are good, and the hotel has a nice ambience. When we arrived, though, there was an issue with electric current coming through the tap water. Other guests had reported the same problem. Hotel staff tried to fix it, but an electricity failure meant they couldn’t find the root cause. Mobile phones won’t work in this area unless you have BSNL. The hotel Wi-Fi keeps fluctuating, so you can’t depend on it.

The property itself is good, and the rooms are small but okay for a night or two. But I’ve travelled to more than 100 tourist locations and never had such a pathetic hotel stay. The staff seemed helpless, though I blame the owner for not having enough people. During peak season this property needs at least 20 employees. Just 4 to 5 staff were trying to handle more than 100+ customers a day, covering check-in, check-out, baggage, room cleaning, and serving food in the dining area. I paid around 7k and was served burned puri for breakfast. Dinner was served by 8.30 PM, which you wouldn’t expect when travelling with kids. A horrible experience.

The breakfast was super, and I want to thank Aman, who got me medicine at night. I was here for one day on vacation. The room wasn’t that great, and the first one had problems. The service boys Antim and Gautam helped resolve them and moved me to another room. The owner needs to renovate the ground floor rooms.

Staying at seven seas was a good experience. The rooms were kept neat, service was very good and polite, and the hotel had a warm, home-like feel.
