The food was exceptional, and the rooms had a tasteful design. We spent two lovely days at this beautiful property, with wonderful staff throughout. Set away from Leh among apricot orchards, it made for a memorable stay. I’d recommend it to friends and would come back.

After an exhausting trek, we needed somewhere peaceful to recover, and Chulli Bagh was just right. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the whole place had a wonderfully restful feel. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a different Ladakh experience away from Leh’s loud, busy streets.

We ate a traditional homemade Ladakh meal prepared in the Royal Kitchen, and everything was amazing. The property at Chulli Bagh was comfortable and convenient, and the staff were excellent.

The only disappointment was that the palace itself couldn’t be visited during the winter season. We stayed at the Chulli bagh, the private villas of Stok Palace, and the rooms were wonderfully warm, a real blessing when it was 15 degrees below zero outside. The food was great, both Ladhaki and Indian, and the bar menus were cool. Many thanks to Mr Devender for attentive, personalized, and effective service.
