Noble House

The owner and staff made the stay feel more like being at a family house than a hotel. It's clean and well kept, and while the rooms are a little modest, they have the essentials. There’s a dining room, a dining terrace and a garden with sunshades. The location is calm, just off Forth Road, though only 5-10 minutes on foot to Leh town center. Six stars out of five.

The view from our room was good, and the staff were polite and courteous. Dinner was especially good, and everyone in our group liked the food. The hotel was nearly always full of guests from foreign countries. It's about 200m from Fort Road, so we had to walk that stretch, while Leh market was close enough to reach on foot for souvenirs and warm clothes. The rooms didn't have fans, which we missed during the day even though nights were cold. Wifi was intermittent, and we couldn't get it on the 1st and 2nd floor during our stay.

Nobel house sits on a quiet alley near the center of Leh, and the building itself looks really nice. The staff were the best part, friendly and helpful with anything we needed. They gave reliable information about Leh and helped us find good deals on bikes and tours. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. The shower worked fine, and there was hot water. Breakfast and dinner were both good. I'll come back next time I'm in Leh.

The balcony is beautiful, and you can see Leh's amazing landscape from all corners of the hotel. I had a great stay at Noble house, with kind staff, clean facilities, and fresh, delicious food served in generous portions. I'd highly recommend it to future visitors to Leh. Thanks to all the staff for making my Ladakh stay memorable.
