The food tasted heavenly, and the service was lovely. Manager Rahul was friendly and polite, and Deepak, the junior manager, was cheerful. The staff paid attention to even the smallest things, and it felt like home. The hotel is about 1.5 km from Leh market, with very clean rooms and a breathtaking view. Great value for money. Loved it, 10/10, definitely recommend this hotel in Leh.

The food, views, and room service were all wonderful, and I’m so happy with the stay. Deepak and the manager, Rahul, were especially amazing. They were always available and made sure we had no issues and felt at home. They also made an effort to get to know us so they could give us the best service. Such a wonderful experience.

The rooms we were given were old, poorly maintained, and unlike the photos online. The geysers weren’t working properly, so our stay was uncomfortable. This was especially disappointing after the hotel advertised 24/7 hot water and showed us its best rooms with geysers that were supposedly working before check-in. The staff weren’t cooperative when we raised the problems. Instead of helping, they told us we could take our luggage and go somewhere else. My experience fell short of expectations. I’d suggest checking other hotels near Market Road in Leh for potentially better value, service, and facilities.

Mr. Norbu added a personal touch to our trip, helping us connect with local people and learn about Leh-Ladakh’s culture and traditions. We stayed at Welkin High, Leh, during our June 2023 trip and had a pleasant, memorable time. The staff were welcoming, polite, and helpful, which made everything easy. We had solar-heated hot water and a kettle, and the calm atmosphere made it a relaxing place to stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with balconies and beautiful views. The surroundings were quiet, parking was available, and Leh market was within walking distance. It’s a simple hotel, but comfortable and well worth considering given Leh’s high altitude. The peaceful setting, views, and warm hospitality make it good value, and I’d confidently recommend it for a comfortable, enriching stay.
