Hotel Aristro

I arrived on time after traveling, only to be told at reception that the hotel had cancelled my confirmed, fully paid Travaly booking. I had received the confirmation at midnight, but nobody contacted me beforehand by call or message, and they offered no alternative. They admitted they had cancelled it and told me to contact the booking site, leaving me stranded. This was extremely unprofessional and unethical, ruined my plans, and caused a lot of stress. It looked like poor management or possibly deliberate overbooking. A confirmed booking clearly meant nothing here, so think twice if your time, money, and peace of mind matter.

The staff and management had no manners, and the staff were arrogant and misbehaved. Cleanliness was zero, with cockroaches around and no housekeeping. The owner, Mr . Ismail Murshad, insulted us and had his staff, mainly inexperienced girls, stalk us. After we paid the full amount to Senate holidays, they demanded payment again, saying Senate had not paid them, and tried to keep us hostage. Their partners in crime, Senate holidays, were just as useless. Hotel Aristro Lonavla is a C grade hotel. I would not patronize any of their shady hotels.

The staff were courteous and easy to approach, the food was hygienic, and the pool was clean. Still, both rooms had cockroaches, and one bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The linen and towels weren't great either. One room had a broken AC, while the other had a bathroom light that didn't work.

We enjoyed our stay at this affordable hotel. The food was great, especially the complimentary breakfast, and service was quick. Staff and management showed nice hospitality.
