Hill Berry - A SoVo Hotel

The one issue I had was the bathroom exhaust. Staff sometimes switched it off, and that caused an odour. There was complimentary breakfast, though it wasn't a large spread, and the only restaurant on the premises was "Indigo Deli". We stayed two nights over the republic day weekend and had a very good experience. The main highway location near Varsoli toll naka is convenient, with a wax museum and a few restaurants nearby. I noticed the garbage dump yard is on the other end of the road, a little away from the hotel. The room had good decor and was well maintained, with AC, TV, Wifi, comfortable beds, clean washrooms, basic toiletries, and clean towels. There were no bath tubs, and the rooms were non-smoking. The front desk was polite, help was always available by phone, and check-in was reasonably quick.

Hill Berry, Lonavala was a pleasant surprise. The rooms felt modern and carefully put together, and the service was warm, quick, and attentive without hovering. The food is from Indigo Deli, which says plenty. The location near the Pune Expressway exit was a real convenience, with no long drive through crowded lanes. A comfortable, handy stay with great hospitality. I'd happily return.

Our family was in town for a wedding, and everyone kept saying how good the food was. They ended up eating more than usual because they loved it. The rooms were new, spacious, and very clean, and staff were responsive and proactive. It's easily accessible, and I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Lonavala. I hear the property belongs to the owners of Indigo restaurant-chain, who are going to launch their Lonavala branch here in December itself. That should mean a fantastic culinary option in the ghats!

It took only 1 hour 30 min to get here from chembur, and check-in was really quick. I stayed last month for christmas eve and had a great experience. The rooms were beautiful, almost like a 5 star hotel, the food was very good, and the pool was lovely. Staff were kind and always ready to help. A nice place to visit with family or friends.
