Lonavala Holiday Homes Hotel

We paid Rs.4500/- per night for two rooms, with no breakfast or meals included, and checked out the next day even though we'd booked for 2N 3D. The place was so terrible that we couldn't stay longer. The photos we were sent showed something completely different. The bathroom was too untidy to enter: the bathtub was broken, the mirror had black stains, the taps were broken, there was no water, and the dustbin was broken. In the rooms, the floors were so dirty you could feel grime underfoot, and the bedsheets and curtains were stained. The window panes were frozen/broken, and the sofa was uneven and impossible to sit or sleep on. The AC was stuck at one temperature. The small pool was filthy, and the sign board was almost invisible. A terrible, overpriced experience.

The staff were disrespectful, and the way they spoke to customers needs work. They didn't even mention the price. The caretaker showed us the rooms, and when we checked carefully, we found lots of stains on the bedsheets and a dirty room. The pool looked haunted and had no proper lighting. A big no from me.

The room wasn't clean, the bedsheet was dirty, and Wifi didn't work. Water wasn't coming through the washbasin or sink, and the issue still wasn't fixed after we complained. The toilet and bathroom taps were sticky, the bathtub was badly broken and unusable, and when I asked for a room with a proper tub, they said none was empty. There was no hot water because the geyser wasn't working, and the running water flow was poor. We planned to stay longer but checked out the next day after a terrible experience. Don't go here.

We left Velvet County, an amazing place, to stay here because the outside looked good in the photos. Once we entered the lobby and rooms, though, it felt like a ghost house. The rooms were dirty and seemed unmaintained for ages. There were all sorts of insects, dead bugs, and smells everywhere. Water leaked inside the fridge, where there were dead flies. The room was intensely humid, and the floors stayed wet, so we couldn't walk without slippers. The bathroom was awful too, with dead flies in the toilet and a dirty bathtub, and the water flow was terribly slow. Heartbroken, I walked away from the amount we'd paid and moved to a different resort. We wasted 1500. It may be cheap, but they could at least maintain basic cleanliness. I just couldn't stand it. Absolutely terrible, like an abandoned place or haunted villa.
