OYO Flagship 23096 Laxmi Residency

For ₹835, this was decent for a single night before continuing a journey, especially if your budget is under ₹1000. At a higher price, I don’t think it makes sense. The bed and mattress were good, the bathroom was usable, and hot water was available. The receptionist was also nice. The place needs urgent room renovations. The walls were in very bad shape, with some broken areas. Our underground room at the back smelled a bit and had lots of mosquitoes. The bathroom exhaust didn’t work, and there seemed to be bats or some small bird living there. The noises were spooky.

Dinner came with lovely live instrumental music from talented artists, which made our last night feel special and memorable. The food deserves a mention too, with a huge range of delicious veg and non-veg options. Our stay at Laxmi residency was lovely. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the staff were courteous and attentive. A few small improvements could be made, but I’d definitely visit again. ☺️

Madam Sam made our check-in and checkout go very smoothly, and the reception team was always ready to help with anything else. The location is great, just five minutes from Lonavla Railway Station. Rooms are spacious, and the staff are supportive. It’s easy to find AutoRickshaws for visiting the tourist spots, or you can ask reception for assistance. Do try it when you’re planning a visit.

Sam at reception is great at her job. She handles most of the front desk and service, and when she’s there you can ask her for basic things and she’ll try to help. I have no complaints about her. The rooms are quite good, but not very clean, and several basics were missing: toiletries, a complimentary water bottle, and glasses. Even if you book an AC deluxe room, be prepared for a stink because there’s a naala right there.
