Rishikesh Resort Lonavala

We stayed with family in two air-conditioned rooms from 20/1/2023 to 21/1/2024 and were very satisfied. The staff were polite, understood us, and took special care of us as senior citizens. The rooms were clean, the power stayed on without interruption, and the manager and staff were supportive. Room service was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh, hot, tasty, and unlimited. Thanks to the owners and staff for looking after us.

The rooms felt old and had no good atmosphere, and the photos on the map and website gave a misleading impression. When we checked in during the rain, the room and canopy were in really poor shape afterward. Booking was unpleasant too: the receptionist first said all the AC rooms were full and that she couldn’t give us one if we booked online, then later admitted rooms were available. Manager kaustube maheta behaved terribly and had no manners when speaking to guests. Better avoid this place.

I chose this hotel as a gift for my family so my elderly parents could spend time with their visiting son. The rooms were mediocre, more like an inn than the good accommodation we’d been promised, and the online photos didn’t match. The receptionist was especially bad, and the service overall was terrible. I was surprised by the positive online reviews; they seem unreliable. The hotel responds to good reviews but ignores negative ones. Please take those complaints seriously and improve the staff’s manners and hospitality.
