Crystal County Resort

The staff were smiling and helpful throughout our family trip, and I especially appreciated their courtesy. On our last night, a technical glitch cut power only to our side. Staff responded right away at 4 AM, fixed it smoothly, and apologized several times. We also had an early train, so we asked for breakfast at 7 AM even though the usual start time is 8. They agreed, and when we arrived, a lavish hot buffet with several snacks was already ready, far more than promised. That made us feel valued. We spent three nights at Meritas Crystal Resort, Lonavala, and found the property beautiful, premium, and very well maintained. Check-in through checkout was smooth and comfortable. The resort is huge, with plenty of amenities: we enjoyed the pool and its fun sound system, played badminton in the spacious outdoor area, and relaxed in the beautifully designed rooms. Breakfast was delicious each day, with a different spread all three mornings. The restaurant team deserves special thanks, as does the front office team. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it for families looking for comfort, luxury, and heartfelt service.

The play zone could use some attention. The AC wasn't working, the TT net was out, the bats were damaged, and the carrom striker was misshaped. It wasn't a big issue, but fixing those things would improve the experience. Otherwise, we had a peaceful, enjoyable stay. The rooms were super clean, the staff were courteous, and the food was simple but mind-blowing. Breakfast had plenty of good options, and room service was quick and efficient, with no follow-up calls needed even though the resort was full. A special mention to security staff Deep Jyoti Das and Sagar Sawant, who were humble and kind. They helped park the car properly, gave us directions, asked if we'd enjoyed our stay, and encouraged us to visit again. Little gestures like that make a difference. I'd recommend this place for a relaxing, comfortable getaway.

The pool under the open sky was beautiful, and the lobby was good. Staff were helpful, though bound by rules, and I wish they'd been more accommodating with small requests. The food was good but on the expensive side. A few things need attention: the bathroom cloth hanger was broken, the sheets weren't tucked in properly, and tea cups were missing until I asked for them. It was a satisfactory stay, but management should address these details.

The good part was the food, especially the breakfast buffet, which had a generous spread and plenty of choices. That was the only good thing about my stay in Nov’25. The pool was okay, but the game zone seemed poorly maintained. WiFi was poor and the amenities were lacking. Our room wasn't clean even though we had a super deluxe room with a bathtub, and there weren't even hand washes in the room. It wasn't worth what we paid, although the staff were quite pleasant. Overall, it was not a good experience, and the facilities need improvement.
