There was no network, no Wi-Fi, and the water wasn’t proper. The lights kept going out, leaving us in the dark for long stretches, and the alarms, AC noise, and trains passing regularly made it impossible to sleep. The AC was so loud that we had to leave the hotel. Rooms, service, and staff were pathetic, and even the waiter was very rude. We paid a lot for this poor service. This place can ruin your mood. Never go here.

Ritz heritage is right in central Lonavala, so getting around to places was easy. The hotel was clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

I booked through Agoda and wondered if they’d treat us differently as online customers, but the manager uncle was polite and supportive. The tea and Upma we ordered were very good. The rooms do need maintenance, though. Otherwise, it was good.

The staff responded well, but the rest was too bad. The rooms weren’t clean and had a lot of dampness, and being close to the railway track meant plenty of noise at night. I was charged more than the prices on online booking sites.

The hotel photos on the website are completely different from what’s actually there. The rooms were awful, with a pungent smell, peeling wall paint, dirty bathrooms, and soiled bedcovers. There was no intercom and no TV, and train noise went on all day and night.
