The food was fresh and delicious, and the convenient location made it easy to reach major parts of the city. I also found the staff warm, professional, and attentive, which made check-in, dining, and the rest of the service easy. At Hotel Dayal Gateway, my room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The property looked carefully maintained, and I felt well looked after throughout. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable, memorable stay.

The food was a highlight, both at the event and during regular meals. The taste, presentation, and spread were impressive, so it seems well suited to conferences, banquets, guest lectures, weddings, and other functions. I was also impressed by the staff, who were polite, responsive, and helpful from check-in through checkout. They coordinated arrangements and handled requests smoothly while I was on a tight schedule. I stayed at Hotel Dayal Gateway, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow for a guest lecture and conference held at the same property. For a quick business trip, it worked well, and I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Gomti Nagar is convenient to reach, especially for nearby corporate, institutional, and event hubs. The lobby and common areas felt spacious and stylish, with modern chandeliers, clean marble floors, and a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms and public spaces were comfortable for a short professional stay. It's a reliable 4-star option in Gomti Nagar for business travellers, event guests, and short work trips.

The hotel has good infrastructure, but the service and management were poor. After I checked in, showed my ID, and received a room key card, I left my luggage and valuables in the locked room and went to breakfast. When I came back, my card wouldn't open the door. A stranger was inside, having been let in by staff with a master key while my belongings were still there. Staff apologized, called it a mix-up, and helped remove the people occupying the room. I have serious security concerns about this hotel. I'd also mentioned before booking that I needed an extra bed, but the one they had wasn't suitable and was wet. On the first night, when I asked for an extra blanket for it, they gave me a blanket cover instead. The bathroom water wasn't hot, either.

The hotel reception promised to send my bill electronically, but more than 12 hours later I still hadn't received it. I called at least six times to ask for it, and got nowhere. Nikhil Mishra, who's supposed to be the Manager, doesn't coordinate things. I'd recommended this hotel to many colleagues, but I won't recommend it to anyone again.
