Divine Classic Inn

Being close to Charbagh station and right beside the Hazratganj metro makes it easy to get around by public transport. The food was good, but the small rooms, weak housekeeping, and very laid-back room service made it feel like poor value, even though it was affordable. Just an okay place.

We paid Rs. 2800 for one night while in Lucknow for the lt grade examination, and only took the room because other hotels were nearly full. Our room, number 209, was air-conditioned but had no water in the washroom, so we had to use another room’s. It also smelled very bad. The top-floor, third-floor rooms were leaking in the rain, and in the morning I saw a lady sitting in the corner of one of those rooms because the whole room was leaking. A very bad experience.

The food was good, and the staff were courteous. But we’d booked nine rooms, and the hotel seemed quite old. None of the rooms could really be called clean, room service was pathetic and showed no concern, and not one geyser in our rooms worked properly.

It’s close to the station area, so convenient for tourists. They keep things clean and hygienic, and the staff speak nicely. Food is available, and there are AC rooms, TVs, and an area for parties. It’s a good hotel, and I’d recommend staying here once.
