Gomti Hospitality is one of my favorite places to stay in Lucknow. Whenever I come to Lucknow, I stay here again because the prices are very reasonable, the staff behave well, and the place is clean with good service.

The downtown spot on Main Street feels like a well-kept secret, and the hotel has what you need if you don’t want to head out. It made for a perfect weekend getaway at Gomti Hotel. I was extremely satisfied.

We booked through MMT for one night at Hotel Ausyhman Residency (Gomti Nagar) Lucknow, and it was the worst booking decision I’ve made. My wife and I had requested a late check-in when booking, yet the hotel refused to let us check in. Google Maps got us close, but with no name board, finding the so-called hotel was nearly impossible. We only found the small residence converted into a hotel by asking neighbors. The doorbell didn’t work, and although we called the manager several times, he never picked up. After we knocked hard for a while, he came out and said he’d fallen asleep with his phone on silent. In fact, he’d already given our booked room to someone else. That’s a highly unprofessional way to run a hotel. He offered us a room at Golden Residency instead, but it wasn’t a couple-friendly hotel at all, and that was another bad experience I don’t want to spend time describing. Since MMT has joined hands with OYO rooms for budget hotel bookings, I’m losing trust in MMT. They should seriously consider how to restore their reputation with customers.

The manager, Akram Khan, was friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and good, and the tariff is affordable.
