FabHotel Prime The Shakuntalam

The reviews included here paint a mostly troubling picture of FabHotel Prime The Shakuntalam, especially around cleanliness and service, though one guest praised the helpful staff and tasty food. Aadarsh Thakur described dirty sheets and pillowcases, a broken bathroom light, and missing toiletries. Swapnil Singhai mentioned extra charges for water and no complimentary water or sanitary items. Rajsekhar N reported dirty sheets, a room that wasn’t ready, poor staff response, and Wi-Fi that didn’t work. Mayank Prateek said staff were extremely rude, charged extra fees, and left him stranded. The property is at B-1/16, Kanpur Road, Sector-G, LDA Colony, in Lucknow’s Ashiyana area. It is listed as a 3-star hotel with air-conditioned rooms, TV, toiletries, room service, a lift, and round-the-clock reception and security. Its reported scores for food and room comfort are higher than 95% and 96% of Lucknow accommodations, respectively, despite the negative accounts. Other FabHotel properties in Lucknow have also drawn reports of cockroaches, poor upkeep, rude staff, and cleanliness problems. One account described pests and dirty carpets, and said staff acknowledged the problem continued even after changing rooms. FabHotel Prime V Hazratganj has a 6.3/10 average on Booking.com, with guests reporting cockroaches, cleanliness and parking problems, and inconsistent service, while some liked the Wi-Fi and friendly staff. MakeMyTrip reviews call the area prime but say rooms may be dated, with cleanliness and facilities receiving mixed feedback. Trustpilot accounts describe rats, roaches, mosquito bites, and alleged discriminatory rules, including “Only Indian Nationals are allowed.” These are reports about other properties, not this hotel. There are some positives in the material: the location is convenient for getting around, one guest liked the food and service, and the hotel lists basics such as AC, TV, and room service. But cleanliness, missing or faulty amenities, and staff conduct come up as serious concerns. If those things matter to you, it may be worth checking several booking sites, including Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, or Agoda, and looking at verified photos and recent feedback. Gomti Nagar and Hazratganj are nearby areas with options such as Hyatt, Radisson Blu, and Renaissance, which generally have higher satisfaction ratings. Based on the reviews described here, I’d be cautious about booking.
