OYO 82294 Chauhan Palace

The owner was humble and responsible when I visited recently, and the lawn is spacious enough for 200 people. Separate parking helps with arrangements, and they keep working on service improvements and modern updates so functions go smoothly. It's an affordable, up-to-standard wedding lawn in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. I'd rate Chauhan palace 10/10.

The worst part was arriving late at night and realizing there wasn't really another option, even though we had chosen it for the airport proximity and lower price. We spent one night there with family and had a terrible experience. The hotel sits well off the main road in an isolated, unsafe-feeling spot, with an open sewer opposite that smelled awful and brought lots of mosquitoes into the room. The bathroom was unclean, used soap and toiletries had been left there, and the mattresses and quilts were badly stained. There were no towels, soap, or similar basics. The service and amenities were shockingly poor. Even the one star feels like too much.

The rooms are decent enough for staying, and it’s an affordable, easy-to-find venue for weddings or other family functions in this area.

If you’re landing at Amausi airport, this can work for a cheap room. Just expect a basic air-conditioned room, not anything luxurious, and plan to get your food from outside.
