Hotel Ashiyana Residency

I booked this venue for my wedding, with a morning ceremony and a reception at 7 PM that evening. When we arrived, we discovered they had already taken six bookings for the same banquet that day, and it was occupied before our arrival. After I got ready and reached the venue, they kept saying we were late. What wedding runs exactly on time? They then told us our booking ended at 2 PM because another wedding was scheduled, something they had never clearly told us when we booked. They rushed our varmala ceremony into five minutes and made us leave the stage straight away. We couldn’t even take proper pictures. Staff began pulling chairs out from under guests because they wanted us gone for the next event. The lunch was moved to the corridor instead of the area they had promised. They also failed to serve the menu we’d chosen: there were no welcome drinks and none of the vegetable dishes we had specifically selected. The varmala was just a basic rose-and-white-flower garland, completely different from what they showed during booking. We paid the full amount for extremely poor service. When the groom’s side objected, staff were rude to them too. Neha Madam didn’t support us at all and started playing the “women card” during the argument. They completely ruined my special day and left the bride’s side feeling embarrassed. No wedding can happen exactly on time, and they had no right to take multiple bookings for the same banquet without properly informing us. Ashiyana Residency feels like a business built only to make money while humiliating customers. Based on my experience, I strongly suggest nobody book this place for a function. Spend a little more and choose another venue, or it could become a lifetime regret.
