Hotel Express Inn

The service left me feeling ignored. I raised my concerns with the staff several times, but they responded with indifference and brushed me off. The room itself was just as disappointing: it smelled musty, the carpet was stained, and there was dust on the furniture. The mattress sagged and the pillows were lumpy, so I spent the night tossing and turning. Worn furnishings and dated decor made the room feel neglected, and the bathroom had leaky taps, too few toiletries, and barely enough shower pressure to rinse away soap. The buffet was another letdown. There wasn't much to choose from, and what was there tasted bland and seemed far from fresh. The dishes looked poorly presented, and when food ran out, it took ages to refill, leaving guests waiting. For what I paid to hold my party at Express Inn, the food was nowhere near worth it. This was an awful experience from the moment I arrived, and I regret choosing Express Inn for my party. Between the poor buffet and the neglected rooms, I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. I'd pick somewhere else.

As someone who has often visited and recommended this restaurant to friends and family, I was disappointed by my latest buffet meal. I hope this was a one-off and that the restaurant will take these concerns seriously. The starters didn't have their usual freshness or flavor. Some looked stale or overcooked, and the preparation seemed careless. There were also very few vegetarian dishes, and what was available felt unimaginative. With more people choosing vegetarian or vegan food, the buffet needs more satisfying options. Service was slow throughout the evening. My party and I waited a long time just to be acknowledged and shown to our table, then waited again for someone to take our drink orders. Refills, extra cutlery, and other help took a long time too. It felt as if there weren't enough staff on hand. I used to think highly of this restaurant and its food, but now I have doubts about the quality it offers. I hope the team improves the service, starters, and vegetarian selection so it can regain the reputation it once had. Please respond promptly and let me know these issues will be addressed. I'd like to believe the restaurant can put things right, and perhaps earn another chance from me.

They clearly put effort into the decorations and creating the right atmosphere, which I appreciated. The hotel interior and all the rooms were painted for our comfort, and the food was good too. The rooms are a little small, but that was fine. A nice place for small parties and get-togethers, and suitable for medium-sized gatherings as well.

Himanshu at reception is kind and very humble. Talk to him if you want good service and a good discount. The chef is friendly and talented, and served us delicious food. Rooms were clean and tidy, and the service was good. It's a good budget option for a small party or a stay.
