OYO 11607 Hotel Serenity Stay

Clean rooms and good service. Seems good for couples if that’s what you’re looking for 😉

The restaurant service was much slower than expected, even though the reception area prominently says outside food isn’t allowed. I’ve stayed at several OYO-backed hotels elsewhere in the country and wonder why they haven’t been pulled up for such inefficient service. The inn is quite close to Sahara Plaza, where my principals’ office is. My room was average, though the air conditioner worked surprisingly well and the Wi-Fi was fine. The washroom taps need improvement, and there’s no mirror above the basin. Maybe another floor would have a better room.

I wanted my money back after this stay at hotel krishna inn. The washroom was filthy, water supply was poor, the taps were bad, and there was no soap or hanger. The bedsheet and blanket were dirty, Wi-Fi was poor, and the flush kept acting up. The TV had no working connection, and the washroom door had no handle. We contacted the staff several times, but nobody would fix anything. They were lazy and unhelpful.

I’d already checked in and paid when the receptionist told me OYO policy meant an extra 10% of the room charge for every hour before 12:00PM. They also assured me I’d get a GST bill. I was surprised, but had to leave urgently, so after a small argument I paid an extra Rs.240. The receptionist had changed by the time I checked out that same day, but the person there still tried to convince me the wrong thing was right. I feel they’re cheating people. Please don’t stay here.
