OYO 14615 Aastha Krishna Dham

My brother’s engagement was spoiled by the lack of management at Astha. The receptionist and staff were arrogant and didn’t know how to speak to customers. I can’t recommend this place at all. Avoid it.

The mosquitoes made me spend much of my time swatting them, so the stay was only okay if you can put up with that. The linens weren’t clean and service was awful. Even a toothpaste dental kit costs extra. If you want breakfast, order an hour ahead. The rest was manageable, but I’m not sure why they offer service like this.

The area and ambience were good, but the manager made things unpleasant for my family and every guest who stayed there. Rashmi Shukla treated people as if they were beneath her and showed no respect. During my stay, she abused several family members for enjoying the wedding ceremonies after 10:30 pm. When my brothers tried to speak with her, she threatened them, saying they didn’t know how to respect women and had no right to talk to a woman that way. She also slapped one of our caterers, then showed no guilt or explanation when we confronted her. We asked for extra bedding and got only a mattress, with no pillow, sheets, or blankets. The lifts are switched off after 11 pm, so guests on the third floor have to use the stairs. Reception often doesn’t answer the phone, meaning you have to go downstairs for anything you need. A stray dog got into one of my function halls, and there was no guard at the entrance to stop it or even monitor who came and went. I wouldn’t put friends or family here, and would choose somewhere else over Astha Krishna Dham. My ratings: area and ambience 7/10, staff 4/10, hospitality 2/10, guest experience 2/10, cleanliness 4/10, security and safety 3/10. An extremely poor experience.

I’ve usually booked OYO rooms while traveling around India, but this stay left me really disappointed with OYO’s service. I won’t book this property again. After arriving, I stood outside the gate for more than 20-30 minutes because nobody was at the gate or reception. The room was dirty, with unclean linen and pillow covers, stains on the bed and pillows, a used condom packet inside the bed, and a used shampoo packet in the bathroom. The hotel didn’t provide towels. When I asked at reception, the person said they had none at the moment and would provide them in the morning. There was no TV or DTH remote in the room either. A horrible waste of money.
