Saubhagyam Residency

The rooms were neat and tidy, and service, including room service, was quick. Food choices were limited, but what was available was simple and tasty. The hotel is at Manoj pandey chouraha, a busy junction near shopping, though it’s far from both the railway station and airport. I’m not sure how many guests stay overnight, since the convention hall is usually rented for weddings. There are a lot of stairs, which can make getting in difficult for older people. Still, I had a nice experience.

The location is prime and the manager was courteous. The food was good, but costly. There seemed to be too few staff, and room service wasn’t up to standard. Work and marketing both lacked professionalism, and the place felt more focused on money.

The event was frustrating and confusing for our guests, with mismanagement at every turn. Water bottles ran out right when the function started. It took a lot of discussion to get more, and they were served in plastic glasses instead of disposable cups. That was only the start of the problems. The manager wasn’t there when the function began, and no one else seemed able to sort out the issues. The service was very poor.

The surroundings were neat and the ambience was nice, with dedicated staff. The menu is limited, though, and there’s no laundry service. It was okay.
