Super OYO Collection O Alambagh Formerly BM Palace

I booked through Booking.com and regretted it as soon as I arrived. The lobby and reception smelled of alcohol because the hotel is right beside a bar, with only a thin aluminium partition between them. The cupboard hinges were broken and poorly maintained, and when I asked for the manager’s contact, reception said there was no manager and refused to give me any details. Getting water was a struggle each morning, especially hot water. On Day 2, I had to go to reception 4-5 times to get hot water for a bath. The room landline didn’t work at all, just sat there for show. Its geyser was installed in the next room, so I could only get hot water if those guests switched it on. I had an early flight on Day 2 and there was no water in my room. Reception said they’d turn on the motor, but I waited 45 minutes and still had no water. I had to buy bottled water from them to brush my teeth, since they don’t provide it for free. I’m sharing all this so another traveller doesn’t have the same miserable stay. Avoid this hotel completely.
