Townhouse OAK VS Shivanya

We spent 24 hours here on 27/09/2025, and it was such a lovely visit. The cozy, comfortable atmosphere and polite staff who were quick to help made it memorable. The food was delicious, fairly priced, and packed with regional flavors. We’ll definitely come back! 💕😊

The rooms and property seemed questionable, and there was nothing in the room. The staff were cruel and ill-mannered. In the end, I also had to file an FIR because of the way they behaved.

The room itself was awful: mosquitoes and insects everywhere, an intolerable smell, a leaking cabinet, a TV that didn’t work, no light backup, and curtains so filthy they looked like mopping cloths. The door lock wasn’t working properly either. I had to ask again and again for a towel and water bottle, and they only arrived after an hour and a half. At check-in, the staff refused to let me in because they said the booking price was too low, then asked for another 500Rs. I paid it, but the service and the staff’s rude, arrogant attitude were still terrible. They handled every situation badly and acted as if giving a room for 1500/- was a favor. I’d ask OYO not to tie up with places like this and risk damaging its name, and to train them before giving a franchise. I’d never recommend this hotel to couples.

The hotel has decent amenities, though it’s tucked well away from the main road and there’s no telephone service.
