Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful Coorg property, though we only booked two days and wished it had been longer. Everything was well maintained, from the rooms to the impressively decorated bathrooms, and the peaceful setting was lovely. There was plenty of well-cooked food, and some staff were especially kind and attentive with our two young kids. A special thank you to duty manager Umer, who made us feel so welcome and went out of his way to fulfill my son's request. Abhilash was knowledgeable and a great storyteller; he took us on a plantation tour and patiently answered our kids' hundreds of questions. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks, Team Marriott!

Astha at reception, Swapna and Prerna in the Madikeri dining room, and Lalit, the chef in the Madikeri kitchen, all helped make our stay wonderful. The whole staff were helpful and lovely. We stayed at Marriott, Coorg from Feb. 18 to Feb. 22, 2026. We've traveled almost all over the world, but had never seen a resort quite like this. It was a perfect few-day retreat, surrounded by nature in a calm setting.

We've stayed at many Marriott properties, and Coorg Marriott is one of my favorites in India for its setting, atmosphere, and hospitality. We came away already looking forward to returning. We were traveling with our pet, and the staff treated him like a guest too. They arranged breakfast in the lobby close to the buffet, gave him extra buggy rides, and made sure all three of us, my wife, my furry pal, and me, were comfortable. Sushmita was in touch before and during the stay. Harish was warm and welcoming, and Umer told us about his own pets, showed us around the whole property, and answered all our questions. The buggy drivers took to our pet right away. Kumty and Tina made up our room beautifully whenever we stepped out, with thoughtful little touches. They also decorated the room for my wife's 40th birthday, and offered to wash my car after seeing me worry about how dirty it had become on the drive in. Those small gestures, along with all the care for our pet, made the stay even better than I'd hoped. Pick it for your next stay. You won't regret it, and we'll be back soon.

The staff at Madikeri Kitchen made the food a treat, with fresh dishes and lots of variety. Ritish, the kitchen maestro, made sure we enjoyed every bite. At the Lounge, Vishal, Anish, and Shaan kept happy hour cheerful and prompt. We also loved the coffee plantation tour with Abhilash, who knew his stuff, and Yogendra gave us a delightful tour of the property. Marriot Coorg sits among lush coffee plants, with rooms ranging from deluxe options to presidential suites. We stayed in a lovely villa overlooking the plantation, and it felt magical from the moment we arrived. There is a large pool, several places to eat, a kids' playhouse, and a peaceful fish pond. Activities include bird watching, bonfires, plantation tours, and high tea. Karan, Astha, Lakshmi, and Harish at the front office were warm, helpful, and cooperative. They arranged an early check-in, shared tips about places to see in Coorg, and gave us a lovely gift. They made our first anniversary special too, decorating the room and surprising us with a tasty cake. Lakrani, your thoughtfulness has stayed with us.
