Jade Hills Coorg

Jade Hills is a long way from the main town, which makes it quiet and comfortable, and the view was great. The family who maintains the place were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Service could be frustratingly slow, though. If we asked for food and someone else arrived, they might be served first. Apart from that, we had a good stay and would recommend it.

Babith and his mother made us feel like family, and the homemade breakfast and dinner were fresh, flavorful, and comforting. We also explored some nearby local off-road spots, which was a real thrill, with rugged tracks and beautiful Coorg scenery. We had a memorable two-day getaway, and for us, Jade Hill Stay was a full 10/10. We’re already looking forward to coming back. The property sits on what feels like a private hill, surrounded by greenery, misty views, and quiet. No traffic or noise, just fresh mountain air and a beautiful view in the morning. It felt like our own little paradise, with a lovely mix of peace, comfort, and adventure.

It felt like we were at home, a peaceful, cozy place to unwind from busy everyday life. The private hill setting is about 20 mins from the city, with lovely views and weather typical of Coorg. The warm, friendly staff took great care of us and our toddler. The simple homemade food was delicious, especially the Paalputtu at breakfast.

We spent two nights at this peaceful homestay, with lovely views of Madikeri and the surrounding area. A caretaker and his mother looked after us and made sure we were comfortable, with good food and a homely feel. It’s quiet and private, away from city sounds, on top of a small hill. Getting there by car means driving up a steep slope for about 3 minutes, so be confident on that kind of road. Breakfast has a good variety of tasty Kodava cuisine, but lunch and dinner mean going down to the city. The price felt high; you may be able to negotiate a bit if you call directly before booking.
