Four Seasons Home Stay (1BDH)

We paid around 4.8k via Goibibo for a 1 BHK for 3 nights. It's about 2 km from madikeri bus stand, and having your own vehicle would help because there aren't auto or taxi stands nearby. The host, Mr. Kalappa, welcomed us warmly and pointed out local sightseeing places. Some reviews say food is provided, but that may not be true now, or it may have stopped. You can order through Swiggy or Zomato, though for the price I expected at least one meal to be served, so it felt costly. The washroom was small and cramped, the TV didn't work, and the taps leaked. You don't need AC in the pleasant climate. If you can overlook those problems, it's a quiet, cool place to stay.

The owners are kind hearted and can guide you around coorg if you're new to the area. The rooms are awesome, budget friendly, and feel homely. It's near raja seat and omkareshwari temple, though getting around on a 2 wheeler is kinda hard.

The hosts were polite and friendly, and we had a really pleasant stay. Our 2 bedroom place had one large bedroom with an attached washroom, a smaller bedroom, a decent hall with a dining area, and a common washroom. The host gave us an itinerary that helped us cover lots of places in good time. We also got home delivered local cuisines from the host. Totally recommended.
