Hotel City Comforts

Breakfast was a joke: just one main dish, oily pooris, with no variety or effort. The dining space wasn't much better, with dirty, worn chairs that looked as if they hadn't been cleaned or replaced in a long time. The room itself was only okay, but the washroom was poorly maintained and unhygienic. Staff were shockingly rude, as though doing their job was a favor. Basic hygiene, service, and hospitality were all lacking. I strongly advise against staying here, especially for a long visit.

The rooms are spacious, but there's no lift, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs alone. There was no help or room service. I liked the breakfast on a previous Treebo stay, but this one was only average. They didn't provide bottled drinking water, so we had to collect it from the filter.

The market is only a few minutes away on foot. I booked a deluxe room for ₹3.2k, and both the room and bathroom were well maintained. The bedsheets weren't completely spotless and the curtains were a little dusty, but it seemed clean overall. Breakfast had a decent variety, though it was just okay.

Breakfast was the biggest letdown. They served upma and badly made poha, with no chutney or anything else. They blamed the small selection on an LPG shortage, but chutney doesn't need gas, and idli could at least have been made using an electric system. It felt like they were using the shortage as an excuse to save money. We had a triple room. The single bed was hard and had no cushion, and the old furniture needs updating. Still, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was okay, and there was parking for 6-8 cars. Toiletries and good towels were provided. Fine for one night, but I'd choose another hotel for a longer stay.
