We stayed at this hotel on 2nd may 2026, and it was a really bad experience. We’d booked a superior deluxe room, but one of the rooms offered was very small. Reception had no alternative rooms available. Breakfast was chaotic, with no plates around, and people had to go into the wash area to ask for them. The food refills were terrible. Food service timing was limited, which was fine, but the desk stopped taking orders for almost 30 minutes. We finally had to order at the main counter, then the person came after serving half the bread and said what we’d ordered wasn’t available, so we had to choose an alternative. Some rooms are in the basement with no or poor ventilation. I wouldn’t recommend this property. Better to book another hotel after reaching or choose a homestay.

The restaurant experience was poor: we waited 30 minutes for breakfast, which still wasn’t available, and the food quality was very bad. Service was extremely poor, and management seemed absent. The room wasn’t clean, and there was no bathroom kit, so we had to call reception for basic items. The TV also didn’t work. I called reception 3-4 times, but they never recharged the DTH plan. A very disappointing stay at Le Coorg Hotel, Coorg, with basic hospitality and management lacking. I don’t recommend it.

There was a fight between hotel staff in the kitchen, witnessed by all the guests. It left us with a horrible, bitter impression, and there was no professionalism. The hotel looks great, but the service doesn’t meet the mark, and I really wouldn’t recommend it. The TV and AC didn’t work, and the remotes weren’t in the room. When we asked, they brought remotes with no batteries. A local TV guy arrived in dirty clothes and spent one and a half hours trying to fix the TV without success, disturbing our privacy throughout the stay. There was no hot water in the bathroom either. They said the water would get hot as the sun rose, otherwise it would only be a little warm. Service was not good.

I was highly dissatisfied with my stay at Le Coorg Hotel and felt it was a waste of money. The food at Zaffron Restaurant tasted very bad and was extremely low quality. Service was slow, and the staff came across as rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly to customers. Basic cleanliness, hospitality, and service expectations weren’t met. I wouldn’t recommend Le Coorg Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

The rooms were horrible, with no AC and no jet in the washroom. They wouldn’t change the room when the AC wasn’t working, and during dinner service they ignored room requests. Service was awful, and they wouldn’t provide ice for drinks. Food was terrible too. Order veg fried rice and they may serve egg fried rice. Veg and non-veg food are cooked on the same tawa, including dosa and egg omelet. Not worth paying to stay even one night. Avoid if possible.
