Prashanthi Resort

The rooms and service were good, and so was breakfast. Egg fried rice was good too, though the starters were just average. They had parking, power backup, WiFi, and hot water available 24 hours.

There's a stream running by the lush forest, with a hill behind the property. It made for a peaceful family stay and a very good experience. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. A little renovation would make the place even more attractive.

The hill views are superb, and having the resort's own parking area was handy since I was traveling by car. The dinner I ordered was delicious, while the complimentary breakfast tasted good but didn't offer much variety. In the evening there's a shared campfire, so you have to join the other guests. Some advertised amenities disappointed me. The rain dance and kids' play area didn't feel like proper facilities, more like a joke. I spent two days at Prashanthi Resorts during my holiday, and the place has potential thanks to the setting and decent food. It could be a good place to relax in nature, but keep expectations about the extra amenities in check.

The hill view from our room was awesome, but when the next room was occupied by bachelors, we could hear them through the very thin walls and couldn't sleep peacefully. The location and view are good, but rain dance and campfire felt like a myth. On the first day they said the rain dance wasn't possible because it was raining. The next night they said campfire would happen at 8:30, but it didn't start until 10:30, when only three people were there. I visited for two nights with my wife and our 9-year-old for our anniversary. I almost don't want to give this resort two stars because of the restaurant manager, but the location and other staff are why I am giving them. On the first night we ordered chicken biriyani, fish fry, and chicken ghee roast. The ghee roast was good, but the chicken biriyani was actually chicken fried rice. Still hungry, we ordered another chicken Biriyani at dinner. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked why it was taking so long. The manager said everything was made fresh and he was preparing it, asking us to wait five more minutes. After another 15 minutes with no dish, I asked if they would bring the biriyani or if we should leave. The manager then shouted, asking why I was shouting in front of his 20k customer, when I'd paid around 7k for our two-night stay. He said he didn't have biriyani and asked if I wanted anything else. He also said other things I didn't expect to hear in front of my son. We went to bed half hungry, and my son cried a lot. I kept thinking why I'd come here when so many nearby options were in the same budget.
