Grand Madurai by GRT Hotels

The little touches made this stay really memorable. I asked for hair oil, and room service brought me coconut oil warmed just right. The restaurant team were attentive and quick to help, and the room service was just as good. Breakfast, hospitality, and the care put into the details were all top notch. The hotel feels grand in every way, and the whole team deserves credit. I’d love to return when we visit again.

The location made it easy to get around Madurai, while the hotel itself stayed calm and relaxing. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and breakfast had an excellent range and quality. The team looked after us with warmth from check-in through check-out, and people went out of their way to help. Chris at Reception and Paramita at Bazaar deserve a special thank you. Grand Madurai by GRT was a memorable stay, with a great mix of comfort, service, and value. I’d recommend it for business or leisure.

I’ve stayed here twice in Madurai, and both times had a lovely view. One room looked out at all the Meenakshi temple gopurams and Thiruparankundram hill. The rooms have everything you might need, and there’s a friendly feel throughout the hotel. Laundry came back without reminders, and room service staff greeted us with smiles whenever they passed, which made it feel like home. We also had a great get-together in the banquet hall, with excellent food service. Mr Jabuz Paul took care of every detail. A surprise birthday was put together in under an hour, with a free cake, song, and signage, thanks to Ms Devi Rani and Mr Muthu Mani. The people really make this place. Chef Ganesh and the banquet team, Mr Jeyaprakash, Srisha, Balaji, Alam, the egg live station chef, and the dosa live station chef all looked after us as if we were the only guests. The hotel is close to the airport, too. I’d stay again. Thank you, GRT Madurai team!

During the Tamizh Thaiongal Festival days, the team made the hotel feel especially welcoming. They put Pongal Kolam, banners, a cow, and a goat outside at the entrance, which made us feel at home. Arul at reception also arranged our trip to Palani Murugan temple, and the journey was superb. Our driver David impressed us with his deep knowledge of Indian culture and its connections to the rest of the world. Arul and David both went above and beyond to get things ready and make sure we were looked after. The dining and security teams, along with other staff whose names we didn’t get, were caring and hospitable too. It was another pleasant stay at Grand Madurai by GRT, with excellent service and care from the whole team.
