The staff were pleasant, quick to respond to room service calls, and brought food up when we asked. Breakfast was all vegetarian and just okay. The hotel is set a little way in from the main road. I asked for a 6am check-in because my father is a senior citizen, and they agreed. At first we got a large room with good AC and shelves, but the bathroom tap had no water and there was nowhere to put clothes. They moved us to a smaller room with little shelving and oddly placed wall hooks. Its AC didn’t work, and the bathroom had no basin. We were only staying two days and my father was exhausted from the trip, so we didn’t raise another complaint. They also provided no toiletries, which seemed odd for a hotel at this price.

We checked in around 11pm, and the neighborhood felt a bit shady with not enough street lighting. The location is pretty remote. Still, the property itself was decent and well kept, and the Oyo discount off the rack rate made it worth what we paid. Seems suitable for budget travelers and couples.

It’s fairly close to Mattuthavani bus terminus, and the hotel staff are nice and help arrange things. There’s no restaurant, so you have to rely on them, and getting a cab from the hotel was difficult. Cleanliness could be better. Staff said Oyo is taking over soon, so maybe the quality will improve after that.

Manager Karthick was friendly and knew a lot about the area, and the stay itself was comfortable for an affordable price. The residency is near Mathuthavani bus stand, but not close enough to walk. I used the OLA app to find "Navanna Residency" easily. The mini cab cost Rs.60, while an OLA auto was only Rs.30.

It’s a quiet spot, though out of the way for tourist attractions, so expect a 120inr taxi each way. The staff were friendly, and my room was clean with both a fan and AC. They can also get food from a local vendor and bring it over for very reasonable prices.
