Advait Resort

The location is good, the rooms are decent, and housekeeping staff were polite and helpful. But those positives don't make up for what happened with the food and the response afterward. We ate all three meals at the hotel. At about 2 AM, everyone in my family, including my five-year-old, became seriously ill with vomiting and stomach problems that lasted into the morning. When we reported it, the resort responded casually, saying some people don't suit the food and other guests were fine. It was upsetting to hear that after the whole family fell sick within hours. We weren't well enough to travel, so we asked to extend our stay that morning. They said the property was full and we had to leave, with no real effort to help. At 8 AM we also asked for help getting medicine. We were told shops opened at 9, but nobody helped us by 10:45. With no nearby rooms available on a weekend, we had to check out and make the trip back to Pune while still in poor health. I usually stay at Ramsukh Resort next door, which has the same management, and have always had great experiences there. That's why we chose to try Advait Resorts this time. The difference was disappointing. Good rooms and a convenient location can't make up for unsafe food or a lack of care during a medical emergency. I hope they take this seriously so another family doesn't go through the same thing.

The breakfast was tasty and had a good range of choices, and there was hot water all day. Our room was clean, the food was good, and the staff were supportive and polite. There is a bumpy stretch of road between Mapro and the resort, but it was manageable. I spent a lot of time comparing resorts before planning a day trip to mahabaleshwar, then chose Advait based on the reviews. A good place to stay and helpful staff matter a lot on a family trip, and after staying here I’d recommend it. We had a really nice time.

The grounds aren't large, but the layout makes good use of the space and never felt crowded. Along with the usual amenities you'd expect from a 3/4 star hotel, there are swings and rope swings among the trees. The rooms were clean, the food was tasty, and the resort is very well kept. Breakfast choices are somewhat limited, though everything served was tasty and hygienic. Mahabaleshwar and Krishnamai temples are an easy walk away. I'd recommend this place, especially for families who prefer vegetarian food.

We spent four days here, from 22oct-25 oct, and enjoyed the views of mahabaleshwar from our room at Advait Wada. The place was clean and hygienic, and breakfast was great. Staff were patient, polite, and happy to help with whatever we asked. We had a lovely stay.
