The restroom and bathroom were clean and organized, and we had a comfortable stay with good service. From the balcony, garden and pool, there are lovely views. Big Resort seems like good value if you're after a scenic, budget-friendly place around Panchgani–Mahabaleshwar. There were a few letdowns: the TV didn't work during our stay, and cleanliness in the dining area could be better. We tried the French fries and cold coffee, but neither tasted very good.

The hotel is close to Parsi point and Mapro garden, and sits away from the city bustle. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, and we had no problems during our stay. Hot water and a clean bathroom were available. It's a very old property, so that shows, but it's a decent budget stay if you keep your expectations modest. Good value for the price.

I paid Agoda Rs 3291 for two nights at Elysium Resort Panchgani, which I booked for a small honeymoon trip to Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani with my wife. It looked decent on the website, but the room I got was on the lowest floor. There was no lift, so reaching it meant going down four floors. Staff said Agoda bookings only get rooms on that last floor. The room had unwashed bedding and no towels. There were lots of mosquitoes, leaking washroom taps, a broken WC set, no shower, and a dirty bucket. I also heard from another hotel's owner that Elysium Resort arranges rooms for visitors' drivers at around Rs 500 a night because the rates are so cheap. Based on what happened to me, I wouldn't book this hotel online or offline. Agoda is doing fraud with customers.

The food and service were both poor. The fries were made with half-cooked potatoes, and the grilled sandwich wasn't properly grilled. Even with the high rates, there weren't proper facilities, and the pool was dirty and clearly not maintained. Cleanliness was awful too. My sheet had hair all over it and tea stains, and they didn't provide a second one. Nothing about the stay felt good. It was a total waste of money, and I'd never recommend this resort.

We stayed with family for a vacation from 30th Sep to 4th Oct 2025, after I noticed the deluxe room was available for an unbelievable ₹500/- per day. Google reviews were mixed, so I thought it might be worth a try. Our stay was comfortable, largely thanks to the wonderful ground-level staff. If the hotel is still running, they deserve much of the credit. The restaurant food was great, and the staff there were lovely. Room boys Mahesh and Dada, along with the restaurant attendant and chef, were so friendly that we stayed longer. The hotel is neat, and the rooms and bathrooms work fine, though the interiors look old and faded and need a facelift. The play room has table tennis, carroms and foosball, all in okay condition for a bit of play. There's ample parking, but since it rains there often, a roof would be useful. The pool wasn't operating, and with temperatures usually so low, I didn't feel it was needed. My issue was with reception lady Vaishali on the phone. I called twice and got very bland responses. She was eating while talking, which was annoying to listen to, and didn't come across as a good receptionist or manager. I travel a lot and have stayed in home stays and 5 star properties. People handling hotel calls are usually sweet and courteous with customers. To the owners: I know your brand is expanding into new areas and you're developing a property in Nashik, but this one shouldn't be ignored. It feels like the seed money, the mother of all your properties, and could become the queen of them with a little more maintenance. If you just want somewhere to spend the night and have a good breakfast before going around to see places, this is a good choice. For a honeymoon couple wanting to spend more time in the hotel, it's not for you.
