Hirkani Garden & Resort

We had Chicken Malvani Handi with Bhakri for dinner, and the portion was enough for four. The Strawberry with Cream was yummy too. It’s one of the busiest restaurants in Mahabaleshwar/Panchgani, and I’d definitely come back on our next trip.

We came back for dinner twice and were happy with the food and portions. The rotis are huge, hot, and tasty, and the egg biryani was enough for two of us to eat well. We also tried the strawberry ice cream, which was good. Parking is available. I didn’t try the non-veg dishes, but I’m sure they’d be as good as the veg ones. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Mahableshwar.

The room service reaches you within minutes, and they offer small tours at reasonable rates. The weather is cool enough to walk around too. My wife and I have been here for two days, now it’s our third, and we’re both really happy with the food, location, room views, and service. The food is amazing. If you eat non-veg, I personally recommend the mutton handi. The half serving costs 800 and easily fills three people. The crispy bhendi fry is good too. There are a few small things to improve, like switches that may not work, but we’ll surely return next year with the whole family.

Getting around is convenient, with the private bus stop (Neeta) and government bus stop nearby. We stayed for two nights at Hirkani Garden Restaurant & Lodging, and it was a lovely experience for our family. It’s a safe, comfortable place for children, and the supportive, kind staff made the stay better. Their restaurant has good food and a nice ambience. Highly recommended.
