Hotel Vighnaharta Palace Mahabaleshwar

Our trip was memorable, and we'd definitely visit again. The family running the hotel were cooperative, polite, and welcoming, with outstanding hospitality. Rooms were very clean and hygienic, the balcony view was superb, and the in-house food was awesome. The main market is only about a five-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

We got good sightseeing help from the hotel. Their guide was generous and informative, and helped us save money by explaining public transport options for some points. For other sightseeing stops, we took their taxi, whose rates were reasonable. They also provided pickup from the Mahabaleshwar bus stop, about a 5-7 minute walk from the ST Depo. Food can be ordered in advance, and beverages are available. Staff were friendly and put customer satisfaction first. The room was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with TV and WiFi. I liked the attention to hygiene and the paintings. The hotel faces the mountain and sits well inside the main road, so there was no network signal, but WiFi was provided. Hot water was available for just one hour in the morning. If you don't need a view, there's a reasonably priced room without one, though its window faces the middle of the building. This is a budget friendly option with a very comfortable bed, good for families, couples, or solo travellers. I'd highly recommend it and definitely come back.

The staff were very humble, and the food felt home cooked. The market is about a five-minute walk away, and it's easy to get a cab for sightseeing. We had a good experience.
