Room 206 has the best sunrise view, so this cottage is a good pick if you like a beautiful view from your room. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms are small, though, and I wouldn’t recommend the food. Still, one of the best cottages we’ve had.

The place is quite close to Mahabaleshwar main market and Wilson Sunrise point, and the locality is nice. That was the one good thing about our worst Airbnb experience so far. We booked through Airbnb, but the room was tiny, the bathroom wasn’t properly clean, and the water glasses were dirty. The person at reception seemed barely interested in helping. We had to ask for drinking water and toiletries, and he gave us a room without a TV. He only changed it after we showed him the advertised amenities. The room lock was broken and he never got it fixed, so we had to leave the door open whenever we went out. There’s no food option apart from Thali, and according to the staff you have to tell them in advance. I’d spend a few more bucks somewhere else to avoid this kind of stay.

It was horribly noisy at night, and there was no parking. After I’d booked and paid online, they asked for a lot more money and kept giving customers their problems. If they can’t provide the discounted rate, why advertise on hotel booking sites?

After driving for 10 hours and paying for the booking in advance, we still weren’t allowed to check in. The actual room quality also doesn’t match the pictures. Wouldn’t recommend it. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.
