Manshas High-5 Resort

The quiet and the views stayed with us after we left Mansha’s High-5 Resort. From our room, the forest and farm seemed to stretch between the trees and clouds, and the scenery over Paazar Talaav Dam shifted with the weather and light. The resort sits among forest and strawberry fields in Bhilar, Panchgani, with a sense of privacy that made it easy for us to unwind together. We liked the wood and stone, the large windows, and the little attic space. The architecture felt distinctive but still cozy. The Machan/Forest View room and the Farm View / Tower rooms both make the most of their surroundings. Avinash and host Vishal were thoughtful and helpful, from suggesting a sunset spot to arranging strawberry-picking and helping with local sightseeing. Meals were delicious and homey, and the kitchen, washrooms, and rest of the place felt clean and well cared for. We left feeling refreshed and closer to each other, grateful for the scenery, quiet, and genuine hospitality.

What stood out most for me at Manshas High-5 Resort was how still and secluded it felt. The forest on one side and farmland on the other made it a lovely place for couples, and I especially enjoyed the sunset from the forest side. The unusual architecture looked even better in person than in the photos. The owner is a humble, welcoming local who made sure we were comfortable. There’s plenty of parking, breakfast is included, and the small strawberry farm adds a nice local touch. The location also makes it handy for nearby outings: Panchgani is 5 km away, Mapro Garden 7 km, and Mahabaleshwar and Wai are each 20 km away. My one reservation was the food quality, which was average and could use attention. Still, the quiet setting and views made it a good place to unwind.

We came for two nights and found the rooms clean, with a great view over the strawberry farm. It’s a very calm spot, and Vishal and Avinash provided good hospitality and timely help whenever we had questions. Breakfast had good options too. A kids’ play area would be a nice addition, and Vishal is already working on it. The place has peaceful village vibes, while Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar spots are nearby. A good choice for a family or friends’ visit.

Mornings and evenings were especially pleasant in Mahabaleshwar, with lovely weather and a balcony view from our comfortable, tidy room. The resort is surrounded by strawberry farms, and it was nice to see that they grow some strawberries on the property too. Breakfast and dinner were fresh, tasty, and served well. The owner and staff were warm, polite, and quick to help, which made everything feel comfortable. It’s a peaceful place to enjoy nature and spend time together, and I’d happily recommend it.
