The owners were helpful when arranging milk for the kids and cake and balloons for a birthday. The rooms were good, clean and spacious, and it’s a homestay run by two people doing the best they can. It could suit someone looking for a budget stay, as long as they don’t expect hotel facilities. Food has to be ordered a few hours ahead because it’s made in their kitchen. No one told us, so we ended up ordering from a nearby restaurant. The approach road is very steep, there’s no Airtel connection so we struggled to get a signal, and the surroundings don’t look like the owner’s photos. There’s no grass, though there is plenty of parking space.

The breakfast and food need attention, and the parking area should be covered. It would also help to have all channels available, with a numbered channel list. Still, the rate per night seems reasonable for the facilities, including AC, TV, spacious rooms and bathrooms. A good budget place for a Mahabaleshwar trip.

The view from the room was nice, but I wouldn’t visit again with staff behaving so badly and providing such poor service. The rooms were unhygienic and unsanitized, and breakfast was below average. They charged extra for bedding that had already been paid for through Oyo, then asked for additional mattress charges in the middle of the night and harassed families over taking the bedding away.

I liked the clean, well-maintained rooms and the service. For 600/- you can’t expect a palace, and there’s no natural view here at all. There is Wi-Fi, but it doesn’t reach the rooms. Food is very expensive, and there are no other hotels in this area. The person looking after the rooms cooks it at home.
