OYO 23404 Baba Cottage

Food took an hour to arrive, and when I asked why, the waiter rudely said, "ek hi staff hai toh time lagega..." There was no water, the toilets and surroundings were unclean, and the waiter was unclean too. It was unhygienic throughout, the service was awful, and the place isn't recommended. The food itself wasn't good, and the prices were far too high for the taste. This isn't how customers should be treated. If one staff member can't handle it, close the shop instead of accepting customers and ruining their day through inability to run a hotel.

There's a small amusement park in front of the cottages, which is a plus. But the cottage was pathetic. We booked because it was linked to Oyo, yet I wouldn't pay more than 500 for it. Families, stay away. The room had no ventilation and was so small there wasn't even space to eat. The bathroom leaked, and the restaurant was unhealthy. Hot water only came for two hours in the morning. We arrived at 4 pm and asked for it, but he wouldn't listen.

From the property you can see the sunrise without going anywhere, and Veena lake is only a five-minute walk away. The location is great. Rooms were very clean and had all facilities, and the food was awesome at reasonable rates. There are also dirt biking, dashing cars, and jumping for kids. I'm giving four stars only because hot water wasn't available on time. Maybe their solar system wasn't working properly. Update: I went on 5 November 2021, and I'm writing this as of 9 November 2021.

The chicken dish was great, but the food was only okay overall because the naan had a subtle old-garlic taste. Hygiene is a concern, and the washrooms weren't clean enough. We had chicken with gravy and garlic naan.
