The one real plus is the location beside the beach and the hotel grounds, which are kept very nicely with all the surrounding nature. Beyond that, this place needs major improvement. The rooms weren’t clean, maintenance was lacking even in small things like door latches, and we weren’t given towels, napkins, or soap for the toilet. The window AC was broken, noisy, and didn’t cool. The staff weren’t very good either.

One person at the front desk really stood out. I can’t recall his name, but he was courteous and keen to tell us about the history of the place. A few staff members were knowledgeable and polite too. The rest was a mess. The property was unclean, there was no organization, and staff were rude and untrained. The buffet was particularly disgusting, with used plates being carried to the buffet stands, and it took a lot of effort for me to eat there. The pool was dirty and uninviting. The long walk to the beach was dirty, and the beach itself was dirty as well. I’m sure there are better resorts nearby with cleaner grounds and a clean beach.

There are indoor games like carom and snooker, a tennis court, and a well-kept swimming pool, so there’s plenty to do with family or friends. The resort also keeps some historical artifacts on the property, which is nice. Food is the weak point: the buffet lunch had little variety and the quality wasn’t great. The restrooms could be cleaner too. We went for the day, and getting in took time because of traffic backed up on the narrow road near Shore Temple. Good place to spend time on activities, though.

It’s easy to get around to the tourist sights on foot since the resort is centrally located. The mornings are quiet, with birdsong and a pleasant feel, while at night the lights make the place cozy. There’s greenery everywhere, and you can just sit and enjoy nature. The antique collection is lovely, and whoever looks after it deserves kudos. It feels like home. The staff are friendly and happy to serve when it suits you. I loved the restaurant’s lighting and green bench, and the food was delicious, especially the French Breakfast buffet. The beach is an easy walk away and is best in the early morning sunshine. The pool is neat and clean, with recycled water. The dome-shaped rooms are distinctive and classy, while the standard rooms are good enough. Some maintenance might be needed for the AC, and a few extra lights would help. It’s a relaxed, pleasant stay and worth the money. Couples and families should enjoy it. We also saw many foreign tourists having fun, which made it enjoyable to share and understand different cultures.
